In addition to the creation of a temporary new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) headed by entrepreneurs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to cut government waste and inflation, President-elect Trump is picking strong cabinet leaders who are committed to related goals of permanently dismantling the bloated federal government bureaucracy and slashing excess regulations.

America has witnessed wholesale politization of the Department of Justice beginning with President Obama’s self-proclaimed “wingman” Attorney General Eric Holder followed by President Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland which has similarly directed investigations and lawfare intimidations against political rivals centrally including former President Trump and his associates.
