The raging California wildfires are proving there is no political bias in natural disasters, forcing the evacuations of the neighborhoods where Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Vice President Kamala Harris have homes.

“RFK Jr. after his meeting with Sen Cassidy said to me that his home in Brentwood, CA has been evacuated due to the Palisades fire and that he hopes it’s still standing,” CBS News’ Emily Hung posted Wednesday on X, referring to Kennedy’s meeting with Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., on Capitol Hill.

Kennedy was a Democrat who turned independent after he was pushed out of primarying President Joe Biden in 2023, and he then backed President-elect Donald Trump before November’s election.
