The White House press office on Tuesday slammed the “hoax machine” of the mainstream media, surfacing and then rebutting the fake news it said is coming at “rapid speed” in the two-plus weeks that President Donald Trump has been in office.

In an email blast titled “Fake News: Hoax Machine Keeps Running” sent Tuesday, the White House press office shot down four recent stories generated by Democrat lawmakers and legacy media.

The first detailed an assertion by Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., that said the Trump administration took away the ability to file taxes for free.
