Actor Steve Guttenberg stepped up to assist firefighters in areas affected by the blazes raging in Los Angeles.

The star, known for his roles in “Three Men and a Baby,” “Police Academy,” and “Short Circuit,” has lived in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood for 30 years and on Tuesday took action to help his community.

As Entertainment Weekly reported, streets were clogged amid evacuations, with some abandoning their cars without leaving keys behind. The actor spent Tuesday helping fire crews clear cars to allow emergency vehicles through wildfire-affected areas.
