President Donald Trump’s move to end former President Joe Biden’s hold on sending 2,000-pound bombs to Israel is the “first step in repairing” relations between the U.S. and Israeli military, retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt said Sunday on Newsmax. 

“Our commitment to Israel is foundational to the logistic support that we give them,” said Holt on Newsmax’s “Sunday Report.” ” I used to run logistics for the European theater. Israel was in my portfolio. This was right up there at the top of my priorities, and the Biden administration clearly interrupted that.”

The previous administration said it was holding back the large weapons because it was worried about civilian casualties, but Holt said the “opposite” holds true.
