Dems: DNC Chair Race Not Diverse Enough

Democrats claim there are not enough diverse candidates seeking the Democratic National Committee chair, The Hill reported on Saturday.

“It is a bit jarring too, to where the gender diversity is in this race and the conversation, it’s also way off,” said Nate Snyder, a Latin Jew and former Department of Homeland Security official running in the race.

Among the other candidates vying for the DNC chair, which The Hill points out are white, include state party Chairs Ken Martin of Minnesota and Ben Wikler of Wisconsin, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, New York state Sen. James Skoufis, Robert Houton, a former Maryland Senate candidate; and 2024 Democrat presidential candidate Marianne Williamson.
