A majority of likely U.S. voters say President Donald Trump would win a third White House term if the 22nd Amendment were repealed, according to a new Rasmussen poll.
The survey found that 53% say Trump would likely be reelected to a third term, including 32% who say it’s very likely the president would return to the White House a third time.
The Constitution’s 22nd Amendment was enacted after former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt won an unprecedented fourth Oval Office term. The amendment limits presidents to two terms in office.
