As Los Angeles was being consumed by fire, the politicians have been out and around explaining that it is not their fault. From Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., to Mayor Karen Bass, these political lightweights have refused to accept responsibility.

Of course, California is the bluest of blue states.

It’s difficult to find a Republican with any power over local governance.
