Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-S.D., is thrilled to have Republicans again in control of the Senate, he told Newsmax on Wednesday.

Republicans have already flipped three seats in the upper chamber, giving them 52 seats, with several races yet to be called.

“The makeup of the Senate is huge,” Cramer said on “National Report.” “Whether you’re in a divided government or a unified government, the Senate is the firewall.”
