Sen. Daines to Newsmax: ‘Nice to See’ Tech Leaders on Board With Trump

Amid reports that some tech CEOs will attend President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration Monday, Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., said Friday that it’s “nice to see” them getting on board with the incoming 47th president.

“President Trump’s strong leadership and influence is already being felt around the world, but also in the tech sector,” Daines told Newsmax’s “National Report.” “As you know, we’ve really been battling some of the censorship issues going on with conservative voices, with the tech companies on the West Coast.

“It’s nice to see them starting to come in and realize that they better stop fighting President Trump. They better start working with him to bring back fairness, to remove the censorship going on on social media platforms, to allow conservative voices to be heard on social media platforms.”
