Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said he wants to hold hearings on the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

While appearing on Benny Johnson’s podcast on Monday, Johnson said one of the buildings near the World Trade Center was brought down via a “controlled demolition,” a rallying cry of 9/11 conspiracy theorists.

“My guess is there’s an awful lot being covered up, in terms of what the American government knows about 9/11,” Johnson said. “With this administration, I think President Trump should have some interest, being a New Yorker himself.”
