The Department of Justice filing criminal charges against Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar for the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel now is a “sham,” says retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer.

“I’d like to believe that we’d send Delta in to grab him [last year] like we did after the Bosnian War. It’s called extraordinary rendition. But we’re not going to do that. It’s all a sham,” he said during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s “Saturday Report.”

Shaffer noted that the DOJ needs to rethink its priorities when prosecuting crimes.
