The main message coming out of the House Republican annual policy retreat in Florida this week is that GOP lawmakers are united and willing to work together with President Donald Trump to implement his vast agenda, Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley told Newsmax on Wednesday.
Whatley, appearing on “Wake Up America”, said that the big takeaway from the gathering at Trump National Doral near Miami “is the fact that the Republican Congress is ready to work with Donald Trump to implement this agenda.”
He added that “the president was [at Trump National Doral]. J.D. Vance was here as the vice president and the message was unity.”
