Whoopi Goldberg supports singer Carrie Underwood’s decision to perform at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration Monday.

Underwood has faced backlash since it was revealed that she will perform, but on Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” co-host Goldberg said she stood by Underwood.

“People do what they do for whatever reason,” Goldberg said before referring to how MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski visited Trump at Mar-a-Lago in November after his election win, according to the Independent.
